It's About Time....

After two months and one week, my Mom is finally home from the hospital. Yes, it was a long...long haul but by the grace of GOD she is home where she belongs. I am so proud of her she really fought hard (I think she gets it from me) she went through so much....test after test and two surgeries but it's all over. She still has a long way to go so please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. And a very special thank you to my sister Lisa and her man Craig words could not express how thankful I am for all you did for Mom. Thank you Craig you went out of your way for our Mom...your a good person. Anyway Labor Day is around the corner and here in Michigan that means the snow is to, I get a tummy ache just thinking about all the snow. OK getting off track now, if I don't talk to you people have a very happy Labor Day.

What A Week.....

The past few days in the Church household have been a world win. On Monday Dave had to have a colonospty and when it was over and they let me go in and see Dave and wait for the doctor. When he came in he told me that they found a mass. Well let me tell you my heart fell to the floor and as the doctor was talking and I looked at the bed I did not see my husband lying there. I saw my Daddy in his cranberry colored thermal shirt and pajama bottoms and so many memories came rushing back...decorating a Christmas tree to put in his room....my brother carrying him at to the couch on his last Christmas......watching General Hospital with him when I got home from school.You, see for those of you who don't know my Daddy died from colon cancer. And than hit me this man lying her is not only MY HUSBAND he is a father...son.....brother. And there are so many people who love him and how can I tell them that my rock is sick. Well I called and told everyone I knew we needed prayers and we needed them bad. I cried my heart out to everyone and they all were so strong for me. Well today we got the results and ........... NO CANCER. Thank you God for putting your hand on my husband. Dave will have to have part of his colon removed on Sept.1 so please keep praying for my best friend...my husband...We love you all. Thanks to all my girls at work for all your support, hugs , and prayers I love you all .....well most of you....just joking I love you ladies.

My Sister....

I talked to my big sister Lisa today,who is in NJ. I just wanted to hear her voice and get an update on our Mom. My mom has been in the hospital since 6/10/09 and Lisa has truly been taking care of everything since I am so far away. So please keep our Mom in your prayers and GOD willing she will be going home in about two weeks. And I want to thank Craig who has been so good not only to my Sissy but to my Mom. Thank you Craig for being such a good person and thanks for being a truly wonderful blessing to not only the "Manning" family but the "Church" one also. And sissy I love and miss you more than you will ever know.
